Safari Vector SVG for Inkscape

Vectorized Safari Chrome
Vectorized Safari Chrome

Here is a vector redraw of the Safari chrome in Inkscape. You can use this to do quick web site mockups in Inkscape.

Took me about half an hour to sketch and another hour or so to get pixel-perfect (on bitmap export…). I use it as a top layer to get a feeling how a site would look in the browser. It’s sized to host a 1200px × 1200px page (I mostly use this with the 960.gs framework here). Resizing is easy. No scrollbars or fancy tabs/bookmark section yet. Use freely (it’s CC-by-SA licenced). Drop me a line if you improve on this or spot a vectorized Mozilla / IE / Opera…

Be sure to have a look at Safari 4 built entirely with HTML and CSS3, too.
